LA Man Wanted In Massachusetts Captured In Rhode Island: Cops

A Los Angeles man wanted in Massachusetts was captured, police said.

Kevin Guzman Bernal, 21, was arrested Friday, the Rhode Island State Police said in a media release.

Bernal was a fugitive from justice from Massachusetts, according to the release.

"The arrest was the result of an investigation conducted by the Department of Corrections Records and Identification Unit and the ACI Investigations Unit," the release said. "Mr. Bernal was arraigned in Third Division District Court, where he was remanded to the custody of the Sheriffs Department pending his return to Massachusetts."
