This MA Chef Will Represent Boston In James Beard Foundation Series
The foundation recently announced its cohort of TasteTwenty chefs, who will lead Taste America national series dinners in 2025 and 2026.

BOSTON, MA — The James Beard Foundation (JBF) announced the 2025-2026 lineup of TasteTwenty chefs, its annual selection of “ones to watch” in the industry, who will represent their city throughout the national Taste America series.
This cohort is part of the Foundation's ongoing commitment to "identifying and elevating the outstanding chefs who are at the forefront of American food culture," officials said.
"We're thrilled to announce the 2025-2026 lineup for our Taste America series, featuring another extraordinary TasteTwenty class,” said Clare Reichenbach, chief executive officer, James Beard Foundation. “These chefs represent the future of American dining—combining culinary excellence with positive leadership that drives our industry forward. Their dedication to craft and community inspires us, and we're honored to showcase their talents on a national stage, beginning with our exciting Los Angeles kickoff event."

Each chef of the TasteTwenty cohort is chosen not only for their exceptional culinary talent but also for their meaningful contributions beyond the kitchen, officials said.
James Beard Award Semifinalist Douglass Williams, of MIDA, will represent Boston in the 2025-2026 cohort.

Across 20 U.S. cities, the Taste America national series offers diners a firsthand experience of the unique flavors, regional specialties and innovations shaping American dining. Events include intimate chef-led dinners with curated menus and wine pairings to expansive walk-around tasting events featuring creations from local guest chefs, all hosted by the acclaimed TasteTwenty cohort representing their respective cities.
The series will launch in Los Angeles on July 29. Boston's date has yet to be announced, but it will be a
walk-around tasting featuring Williams.
