
BERLIN, MA — A 23-year-old died after a fatal motorcycle crash over the weekend.
The Berlin Police Department identified Jack Bonazzoli as the driver of a motorcycle that crashed into a home on Sunday night. Bonazzoli had recently joined the Sterling Fire Department.
The accident happened at the intersection of West Street and Randall Road at 9:30 p.m. The motorcyclist was traveling West on West Street when they lost control and crashed, according to Sterling police.

No one in the home was injured, and Bonazzoli died at the scene.
Bonazzoli was set to attend the Massachusetts Fire Academy next month, according to the Sterling Fire Department.

"Jack’s enthusiasm, dedication, and bright personality made an instant positive impact on our department. He always had everyone around him laughing," wrote the Sterling Fire Department in a social media post. "Jack had a passion for emergency service and for physical fitness, and pushed his fellow department members to better themselves each and every shift."
