MA Has Another Mega Millions Winner After $31M Ticket Sold In Woburn
The winning ticket to Tuesday's draw was sold at a Woburn gas station. In January, another $31M winning ticket was sold in Belchertown.

WOBURN, MA — Massachusetts has another Mega Millions jackpot winner.
Mega Millions announced Wednesday that one ticket holder in Massachusetts matched all six numbers drawn Tuesday night to win the estimated $31 million prize ($16.5 million in cash).
WHDH Boston reported that the winning ticket was sold at Gibbs gas Station on Winn Street in Woburn.

On Jan. 24, another $31 million jackpot-winning Mega Millions ticket was sold at a Stop & Shop in Belchertown.
At the time, it was the first Mega Millions jackpot winner in the state since Oct. 16, 2012. Since Mega Millions began in 2002, there have been five jackpot winners from Massachusetts.

According to the Mega Millions website, 45 states and Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands currently participate in Mega Millions.
The winner of Tuesday's drawing matched all six numbers — the white balls 7, 9, 18, 29 and 39, plus the gold Mega Ball 13.
This win marked the fourth time in January that the Mega Millions jackpot was hit. There had never been four jackpot wins in a single month, according to Mega Millions.
"It has truly been a historic stretch without precedent, living up to the random promise of lotto games — jackpots can be won at any time, at any level," Mega Millions said in a statement.
The next Mega Millions drawing is Friday and the jackpot will reset to its current starting value of $20 million ($10.6 million cash), according to Mega Millions.
