MA Residents Can Win Year Of Free Tacos By Taking Down Eating Challenge: Cheap Eats
Plus: A local pizza chain is offering deals for National Pizza Month.
MASSACHUSETTS — People wouldn't be wrong to think about soft pretzels and festbier when considering Oktoberfest activities, but a local chain of Mexican restaurants is trying to add tacos to that list.
Margaritas is again running "TacOctoberfest" this year, and restaurant officials are hosting a challenge for locals: Take down an eating challenge, win a taco a week for a year.
In October, the restaurant is running the Taco Gigante Challenge and the new Flaming Gigante Challenge.

For the traditional challenge, diners can attempt to tackle a two-pound taco stuffed with four different meats, cheese, salsa fresca, refritos, lettuce and rice topped with queso, tomatillo and picante sauces.
Its devilish twin, the Flaming Gigante, is a spicy version of the original doused in Fuego sauce and topped with fresh jalapeños and Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

Completing the challenge nets the winner a free weekly taco for a year and, of course, a t-shirt.
Taco Gigantes are available for $15 each throughout October.
But what's an Oktoberfest celebration without a little beer?
Margaritas is offering a special taco and cerveza pairing that includes a Sam Adams Octoberfest with a birria taco plate for $19.99.
