MASSACHUSETTS — Thanksgiving is typically a holiday many people associate with a home-cooked meal from their family, but that isn't true for everyone.

While some folks may choose not to celebrate at all, others will split the difference by ordering food they don't need to prepare themselves.

The Boston restaurant Summer Shack is celebrating 20 years of its annual Thanksgiving meal deal with ordering open now.

Options include a full turkey dinner for $210 that comes with a 16 lb. turkey, two quarts of mashed potatoes, one quart of gravy, two quarts of cornbread stuffing, one quart of butternut squash and one pint of cranberry sauce. The meal is intended to feed 8-10 people.

Side dishes can be added a la carte for $12 per item, and, for $150, diners can order just a turkey and pan gravy.

Pies are also available to order, with dessert options of apple, pecan and pumpkin that will cost $30 or, for a New England addition to the dinner table, a lobster pot pie for $75.

All orders must be picked up on Nov. 26 from 12 to 6 p.m.
