MA Woman Pleads Guilty To Stealing Thousands From Elderly Victims In Worcester, Middlesex Counties
She is accused of stealing the bank cards of at least 16 elderly victims.
MASSACHUSETTS, MA — A Leominster woman pleaded guilty to stealing thousands of dollars from multiple elderly victims, according to the Attorney General's office.
Regina Henaku, 33, posed as a professional caregiver working at health care agencies and long-term care facilities throughout Worcester and Middlesex Counties, according to the AGO. She is accused of stealing the bank cards of at least 16 elderly victims and using 11 of those cards to steal around $28,000.
Henaku pleaded guilty in Middlesex Superior Court on Tuesday. She was sentenced to two years in a correctional facility, with one year to serve and the balance suspended for two years. She was also barred from any work involving elderly or disabled people, as well as from working in health care and social work.

All of the fraudulent credit card purchases were refunded to the victims.
