Locally, Charlie Redd is most known as the owner of Dragon Pizza, a local spot that's been serving the community for years in Somerville.
But on the Internet, Redd is known as the guy who got in a verbal spat with Barstool Sports owner and founder Dave Portnoy.

The altercation didn't diminish Redd's business, nor his standing locally, and Somerville residents will be pleased to know that it's thanks to Redd that the now-closed Rudy's will have a new restaurant sooner rather than later.
The city’s Licensing Commission approved a transfer of licensing for 248 Holland St. in Teele Square during its most recent meeting. It is now slated to become a new restaurant called The Hollows.

Rudy’s served its last customers this past weekend as the Tex-Mex restaurant closed its doors after more than 40 years.
