Methuen Woman Grateful For Reunion That Brought 45 Relatives Together

Methuen, MA — Thanksgiving is the perfect time to pause and reflect on what brings us joy — from family and friends to meaningful traditions and everyday moments. This year, Patch has partnered with T-Mobile to spotlight the thankful moments that bring our communities together.

What are you most thankful for this year?

Time with family.

Why does this mean so much to you?

Today's lifestyles have us going in many directions. It is hard to stop and enjoy the time with family, so at holidays, everyone makes it a priority to stop and share with those who have a strong command of your heart.

How has this made a difference in your 2025?

In September, over 45 family members enjoyed a trip to Medellin, Colombia. There we captured many memories with family —tours, boat rides, birthday celebrations and family meals. Reminding us that the family where we came from has made us who we are today and the connections help us face the future.

What do you wish others knew about what you’re thankful for?

It doesn't matter the distance between family members, [because] today it is so much easier to stay in touch, to share special moments and to plan those family reunions.
