Pilot Injured After Plane Flips Over During Landing At MA Airport
The crash happened "due to a change in the headwind into a crosswind."
FITCHBURG, MA — One person was injured after a plane crash in central Massachusetts over the weekend.
An airplane flipped onto its roof while attempting to land at Fitchburg Municipal Airport on Saturday morning, according to the Fitchburg Fire Department. The pilot was hospitalized for minor injuries.

The airport was closed on Saturday following the crash, according to the fire department.
