MASSACHUSETTS—An MS-13 gang member who lived in Boston before he fled to New York was convicted today of shooting a rival and a bystander at the Maverick MBTA station, Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley announced. Read more.

Anthony Hathaway, 29, of Whitman, was arraigned in Brockton District Court Friday and pleaded not guilty to drugged driving, motor vehicle homicide while operating under the influence of drugs, endangering a child while operating under the influence of drugs, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and marked lanes violation.
