Snow 7+ Inches Triggers Winter Weather Advisory Across MA This Weekend
The National Weather Service said snow will start Saturday night and turn to a mix of ice, sleet and rain across Massachusetts.
MASSACHUSETTS — Parts of Massachusetts could get walloped with 7 or more inches of snow Saturday night into Sunday as a long-duration storm brings a combination of messy winter weather and potentially dangerous travel conditions across the state.
The National Weather Service issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Worcester County and the northern and western sections of Middlesex County starting Saturday afternoon and continuing through Sunday as snow could turn into a prolonged stretch of icy accumulation.
The NWS is calling for 3 to 7 inches of snow across interior Massachusetts with a glaze to a few tenths of an inch of ice possible on top of that.
