MASSACHUSETTS — If you're looking for an outdoor viewing spot for Monday's solar eclipse, state parks across Massachusetts will be hosting cosmic events.

Eight Department of Conservation and Recreation properties will offer activities like solar system demonstrations, crafts and free glasses to safely view the eclipse, which will be partial in the skies over Massachusetts.

"This partial solar eclipse is a unique opportunity for people of all ages to connect with the world around them and witness the wonders of the universe," DCR Commissioner Brian Arrigo said in a news release. "We're excited to offer educational opportunities for the public to learn about the science behind eclipses and witness this awe-inspiring event firsthand."
