Teachers Charged With Porn; Police Overtime: MA Crime

MASSACHUSETTS—A Cape Cod man was arrested Monday morning after allegedly driving home drunk from a Yarmouthport restaurant. Officers responded to Oliver's on Rt. 6A around 1 a.m. after employees at the restaurant told police a drunk man had refused a safe ride home, became violent and drove away. Read more.

The man two women said rode up to them and groped them on the Esplanade from his bike recently is in custody, thanks to the keen eyes of folks who recognized him from news and social media reports, the State Police announced Thursday. Read more.

A retired elementary music teacher in the Auburn schools was arraigned on charges of raping and assaulting a child while he was employed. On Wednesday, Auburn police were assisted by South Hadley detectives and officers, as well as Mass. State Police troopers, to arrest Stephen Jaszek, 62, of South Hadley. Read more.
