These MA Grocery Stores Will Be Open On Memorial Day 2025

MASSACHUSETTS — If you run short of buns or anything else for your Memorial Day cookout or get-together, don’t plan on making a supply run to Costco stores in Massachusetts.

Costco is closed on Monday, May 26, as it is on most major holidays. But there are plenty of other places in Massachusetts to pick up what you need, including big box stores Target and Walmart.

While Walmart stores are open regular hours from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m., some Target stores may observe limited hours. Whether Target or some other store, it’s always a good idea to check local store hours before heading out.

Aldi: Stores will be open for limited hours; check the store locator for details.

BJ’s Wholesale Club: Most stores are open from 8 a.m.-9 p.m.

H-Mart: Stores will be open regular hours.

Market Basket: Stores are open on Memorial Day.

Price Rite: Stores will be open regular hours.

Sam’s Club: Stores will be open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. for Plus members and from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. for Club members.

Shaw's: Stores will be open regular hours.

ShopRite: Hours will vary based on location.

Stop & Shop: Stop & Shop stores will be open regular hours on Memorial Day.

Trader Joe’s: Stores will be open regular hours.

Wegmans: Stores will be open regular hours, but some pharmacies may have adjusted hours from 9 am.-1 pm.

Whole Foods: Stores will be open regular hours.
