Third Heat Wave In The Cards For MA

A muggy, cloudy start to the week will give way to temperatures that will feel like triple digits in some areas.

BOSTON, MA — You'd be forgiven for thinking it after a wet, cool July, but summer isn't over yet in Massachusetts.

The National Weather Service is predicting a third heat wave in the latter half of the week, following a dreary, muggy start. The NWS says we can expect "oppressive heat and humidity" mid-to-late week, with temperatures in the 90s feeling like triple digits in some parts of the state.

Monday will be the coolest day of the work week, with a chance of rain along the Mass Pike and south of the highway. Drier weather is expected across northern Massachusetts.
