Here's When Thunderstorms Will Hit MA After Stretch Of Nice Weather
A relatively cool, dry week in Massachusetts will end with thunderstorms across the state Friday, forecasts say.

MASSACHUSETTS — A stretch of relatively cool, dry weather in Massachusetts will come to an end Friday with yet another round of thunderstorms set to blast across the state.
Rain could start to move into the state near midnight, with thunderstorms following on Friday morning. The chance of storms will be highest in areas around Worcester, Plymouth and Boston around noon, the National Weather Service says.
"Should we see any severe weather develop it would most likely be during the late morning to early afternoon hours ahead of the warm front," the weather service said in a Friday morning forecast.

The chance of damaging winds as of Thursday morning was only about 10 percent, but the weather service said it's possible parts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island could see 2 to 3 inches of rain by Friday afternoon.
Friday's storms will give way to much nicer weather over the weekend. The chance of rain lingers through Saturday with no severe weather expected. Sunday will be dry, sunny and seasonably warm across the state, according to forecasts.
