Trader Joe's Opens 2nd Location In This MA Town: MA Food Week

MASSACHUSETTS — Welcome to Patch's weekly round up of food and restaurant news in Massachusetts, where we review openings, closings and more in the state's dining scene.

This week, we learned that Trader Joe's has opened its second location in Newton as of Thursday. The location will employ more than 70 people.

Through the business’s Neighborhood Shares Program, all unsold products that are still fit for use will be donated to local organizations to help those in need.

Also this week, we learned that the owners of a popular Salem sports bar and restaurant have sold, and a beloved restaurant is expanding with a new pizza spot in Wellesley.
