This week, Red Bull Heavy Metal is expanding to Boston for the first time ever, serving as the second iteration of the event within the 2025 calendar.

The competition will be held on Feb. 22 at City Hall Plaza from 2:30 to 6 p.m. Doors open at 2 p.m. for the free event.

Among the top level professionals set to snowboard in Boston are X Games gold medalist Zeb Powell, who the X Games themselves described as "the most creative man on a snowboard."
