Acton Family Wins Fresh Air Fun Photo Contest

Acton residents and Fresh Air Fund host family, the Hudsons, have been named among the the winners of the Fresh Air Fund's 2013 photo contest. 

The Hudson’s photo was determined the winner in the Family Portrait category, according to a press release. It features Fresh Air visitor, 9-year-old Pravarrna, laying on the beach with host siblings, Finn, Jack, and Rex. 

“Hosting Pravarrna was a rewarding experience for our family," said Kat Hudson. "It was something we had wanted to do for a long time and were really happy that we made the decision to do it this summer."

According to the press release: All winners were selected from the hundreds of pictures sent in by volunteer host families across 13 states from Virginia to Maine and Canada, reflecting the memorable experiences they shared with their New York City visitors this past summer.
