Acton PD Investigating Reports of Daytime Burglaries
Alleged perps appeared to be looking for jewelry and cash.

Police in Acton are alerting residents about a pair of reported residential burglaries that happened during the daytime on Wednesday, Sept. 4.
In a press release Friday, the Acton Police Department reported residents from Willow Street and Strawberry Hill Road called 911 to report their homes were broken into during the daytime and some items were stolen.
"A preliminary investigation revealed entry is being gained through first floor doors and windows," says the press release. "In both cases several rooms were ransacked. The homeowners are compiling detailed lists of stolen property. It appears the perpetrator(s) were looking for jewelry and cash."

Along with sharing news of the reported house-breaks, APD is reminding residents to report suspicious activity immediately by calling 911. As well, anyone with information about the reported burglaries should contact the Acton Police Department Detectives at 978-263-2911.
