Acton Woman Arrested on Domestic Violence Charge
The following arrest information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
A call to the Acton Police Department on May 19 regarding a domestic issue resulted in the arrest of a local woman.
At about 12:42 a.m., a caller from Blueberry Path reported his wife was hitting him.
After responding officers completed an investigation, Vinita Rampuria, 51, of 15 Blueberry Path was arrested and charged with assault and battery.

She was scheduled to be arraigned at Concord District Court on May 20.

- An anonymous male caller reported a disturbance on Hosmer Street, where a lot of people were drinking, hollering, fighting, etc. Responding officers found the scene peaceful and were unable to locate the persons involved.
- An officer was dispatched to a Horseshoe Drive residence to attempt to make an arrest warrant. There was no answer at the door.
