3 Shot In Worcester Monday: Police

The three were shot in the area of Grand and Camp streets early Monday morning, police said.

WORCESTER, MA — Three were shot and wounded in Worcester early Monday, police said.

Officers and detectives investigating a ShotSpotter activation in the area of Grand and Camp streets about 2 a.m. found two adults with bullet wounds, Worcester police Sgt. Elise Miranda said in an email.

"Officers were able to assist with initial medical care prior to hospital transport," Miranda said.

A third wounded adult turned up at a local hospital, Miranda said.

The three are expected to survive the shooting.

"This is believed to be an isolated incident," Miranda said.
