The Colonials were eliminated on Sunday in the Division 1 semifinal by Duxbury.

With the victory, Duxbury advanced to face Arlington Catholic in the state title game, scheduled for Sunday on the ice of TD Garden in Boston.

Acton-Boxborough earned its spot in the semifinal game thanks to a 2-0 first round win over Billerica, and a comeback 5-4 overtime decision against Barnstable.

With the loss, the Colonials' season ended with a record of 21-3-0 while Duxbury improved to 16-1-6 heading into the meeting with No. 3 Arlington Catholic.
