Collaging for Mom, Cheering for Dana-Farber

We've got five things you need to see, do and know on Nov. 26 in Acton.

1. Moms Rock! CollageDrop by the Discovery Museums at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 26 so young kids can dig through collage an image and take their artwork home with a special message for mom about staying healthy and strong. Get the details here

2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website, public meetings posted for Nov. 26 include the Acton Housing Authority Board of Commissioners at 4 p.m. and the Historic District Commission at 7 p.m.

A-B Cheerleaders Fundraising for Dana FarberAs a part of a fundraising initiative that concludes on Thanksgiving Day, the Acton-Boxborough High School varsity cheerleaders are among many squads raising funds to support adult and pediatric cancer care and research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Get the details here.

5. Warmer, But Might Rain: Should be mostly cloudy today with a high of 44 and a chance of showers, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts rain overnight and a low of 38.
