• Maynard MA Beacon Santa Telethon achieves 20-year fundraising high (wickedlocal.com) — Acton families are among those benefiting from Maynard High School’s WAVM Beacon Santa Telethon, which just hit its highest fundraising total in 20 years with more than $45,000 raised. The student-run broadcast marathon supports holiday assistance for 12 area communities and still welcomes donations for about another month, while also giving Maynard students hands-on media experience.
