Police Log: A Stolen X-Box, Cars on the Sidewalk and Loud Neighbors

Thursday, Sept. 19
2:29 a.m. – A Mass Ave resident called to report people walking in his yard. The yard was checked and nothing found.
9:11 a.m. – Police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on Arlington Street.

9:26 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a town vehicle striking a telephone pole on Hayward Road.
9:48 a.m. – A caller reported losing a set of keys at Trader Joe’s on Great Road – either in the parking lot or in the store.

12:48 p.m. – Police responded to a report of illegally parked cars on the sidewalk and obstructing traffic on Martin Street. The vehicles were removed.
2:13 p.m. – A harassment complaint came in from Concord Road.
2:27 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Main Street. Both vehicles left the scene before the officers arrived, however.
3:26 p.m. – Police responded to Town House Lane to speak with a woman regarding noise issues.
5:51 p.m. – A Central Street resident called to speak with an officer regarding the purchase of a motor vehicle. She was advised her situation was a civil issue.
6:37 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a stolen X-Box gaming system on Hosmer Street.
11:07 p.m. – A Windsor Avenue resident called to report a neighbor being loud. Police spoke with the neighbor, who went inside and agreed to quiet down.
11:20 p.m. – Police responded to a report of gunshots coming from behind a building on Strawberry Hill Road.
