Police Log: Accidents, B-and-Es and Alarm Activations

Friday, Sept. 6
5:47 a.m. – Police responded to Nagog Hill Road for a report of noises in a room. The officer checked with the homeowner, but nothing was found.
6:18 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Route 2. State Police also responded.

8:01 a.m. – A call came in reporting a vehicle driving on the wrong side of the roadway on Great road. The vehicle, described as a shuttle-type bus, was gone on arrival.
9 a.m. – Police responded to Hosmer Street for a residential burglar alarm. It was triggered by a repairman on site who was authorized by the homeowner to be there, according to the log entry.

9:06 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a verbal domestic on Great Road. It was a neighbor dispute, according to the log note.
12:33 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Powdermill Road.
5:02 p.m. – Police responded to a report of a possible breaking-and-entering on Strawberry Hill Road.
5:38 p.m. – A motorist reported another vehicle almost struck her as she pulled into NARA Park. A second call came in reporting a vehicle matching the same description smashed into a mailbox on Ledge Rock Way. A criminal complaint was issued and the vehicle was towed, according to the log entry.
8:54 p.m. – Police responded to a report of vehicles parked on both sides of Fernwood Road, causing a traffic hazard.
9:31 p.m. – Police responded to Main Street to assist the Fire Department, where an alarm system sounded.
