Police Log: Accidents, Erratic Operators and an Arrest for Assault and Battery

Wednesday, Sept. 25
7:57 a.m. – Officers spoke with a Brucewood Road resident about removing a vehicle from the street.
12:19 p.m. – A black leather wallet was found on the side of Central Street. The property owner’s father was notified to pick up the wallet.

12:38 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in which a car struck a pole on Washington Drive. The driver was transported to Emerson Hospital and NStar was notified about the damaged pole.
1:25 p.m. – A brush fire was reported in the median on Route 2. Responders reported nothing found.

6:06 p.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation at a Craig Road business, where an employee did not know the passcode.
7:21 p.m. – A bank card was turned into the station after being found in a shopping cart at Stop & Shop on Powdermill Road.
7:52 p.m. – Police responded to a report of an erratic motor vehicle on Great Road.
9:18 p.m. – Police responded to a reported domestic on Hosmer Street. As a result, Kristy L. Stanechewski, 36, of Apt. C6 Hosmer St., Acton, was arrested and charged with assault and battery.
