Police Log: An A-and-B Arrest, Alleged Larceny, Identity Malicious Destruction

Saturday, Sept. 28
12:20 p.m. – Police responded to Great Road for a well being check.
2:22 p.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation on Great Road. Officers met with a keyholder, and the building was secured.

3:11 p.m. – A report of identity theft came in from Jackson Drive.
3:24 p.m. – An alleged larceny victim came into the station to file a report.

4:17 p.m. – Police responded to a reported rear door motion alarm on Main Street.
5:15 p.m. – Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Drummer Road. The responding officer reported it was just some kids outdoors enjoying the nice weather.
7:53 p.m. – Police responded to Maple Street for a report of an unknown man inside a building. Michael Puth, 23, of 68 Maple St., Acton, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering at nighttime for a felony.
9:10 p.m. – A noise complaint regarding loud music was reported from Spruce Street. The responding officer reported there was a birthday party there, and the band planned to stop at 10 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 29
1:27 a.m. – An alarm activation came in from Forest Road; it was accidental and caused by a homeowner who forgot to close a door.
7:46 a.m. – Police responded to a report of harassing phone calls on Faulkner Hill Road.
9:48 a.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Main Street.
10:24 a.m. – A report of a domestic came in from Main Street. Corey B Ryder, 19, of 469 Massachusetts Ave., Acton, was arrested and charged with assault and battery and violating a harassment prevention order.
12:37 p.m. – Police responded to a reported larceny on Franklin Place.
2:25 p.m. – A report of vehicles parked on a sidewalk came in from Charter Road. The responding officers tagged the vehicles in question.
2:47 p.m. – A Grasshopper Lane called to report his neighbors dirt bike riding during the day.
4:10 p.m. – A report of malicious destruction of property came in from Oakwood Road.
10:02 p.m. – A 911 hang-up came in from Alexandra Way, which was confirmed as accidental by the homeowner.
