Police Log: Angry Neighbors, a Laundry Dispute and a Narcotics Violation

The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, Oct. 3

10:20 a.m. – Police responded to a report of malicious destruction of property on Charter Road.

10:20 a.m. – A woman came into the station to speak with an officer about her boyfriend’s well being on Strawberry Hill Road.

1:12 p.m. – Police responded to Great Road for a reported laundry dispute over whether clothes should go into the dryer. The responding officer reported the people involved resolved their dispute.

2:01 p.m. – A GPS unit was reportedly stolen from a motor vehicle at the West Acton Mobil on Mass Ave.

2:36 p.m. – Police responded to a report of larceny by an employee at a Main Street business.

4:28 p.m. – Police responded to a reported drug violation on Spruce Street. The involved person’s father called later to report he had found a bag of narcotics in a field near the location of the first incident.

5:10 p.m. – Police responded to an alarm activation on Kingman Road.

8:02 p.m. – A School Street resident reported that, about 10 minutes earlier, someone was attempting to turn the door knob in her front entrance hallway. The responding officer indicated a package was left at the front door.

9:41 p.m. – A Wampus Avenue resident reported a very angry neighbor confronted him as he walked to his vehicle.

10:39 p.m. – A Patriots Road resident found a wallet on his front lawn and turned it into the police station.
