Police Log: Annoying 911 Calls, Verbal Altercations and More

Monday, Sept. 23

8:26 a.m. – Police responded to a report of construction material in the roadway on Lincoln Drive.

10:06 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a man slumped over in a vehicle on Main Street. The responding officer reported the man was gone on arrival.

4:02 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Main Street.

4:48 p.m. – Police responded to a report of an alleged assault on Piper Lane, which turned out to be a reported verbal altercation over employment issues.

5:49 p.m. – Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Main Street.

8:11 p.m. – A disabled motor vehicle was reported on Great Road.

Tuesday, Sept. 24

6:04 a.m. – Police responded to a Main Street address for a reported alarm activation caused by workers outside of the building.

12:53 p.m. – Officers investigated a reported motor vehicle accident on Great Road.

4:21 p.m. – Police responded to a report that the railroad beam was on fire at the Central Street railroad crossing.

7:16 p.m. – Police responded to a report of annoying phone calls on Monument Place.

7:47 p.m. – An accidental 911 hangup came in from Summer Street.

7:53 p.m. – A suspicious person was reported in a sore on Mass Ave.
