Police Log: Arguments, Loud Music and Alleged Motor Vehicle Violations
The following information was provided by the Acton Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Sept. 7
2:34 a.m. – A Strawberry Hill Road resident reported a man and woman arguing downstairs. The responding officer reported it was people in a downstairs apartment talking loudly after coming back from a funeral.
9:35 a.m. – Police responded to a report of a female motorist texting while driving heading on Route 27 north out of Maynard. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the motor vehicle.

12:40 p.m. – Police responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Main Street.
4:34 p.m. – A noise complaint came in from Hammond Street. There were no problems there, and the band was to be ending at 8 p.m., according to the log entry.

5:03 p.m. – Concord Police relayed a report of a vehicle driving toward Great Road, with a passenger in the back holding an infant. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle.
Sunday, Sept. 8
7:08 a.m. – Police responded to River Street for a report of malicious destruction.
9:42 a.m. – Police responded to Great Road for a report of a business door swinging open. According to the log entry, the nail salon was open and an employee was on site.
10:05 a.m. – A Great Road resident reported his neighbors were fighting again.
1:25 p.m. – Police responded to a report of suspicious activity in which a Jay Lane resident thought someone was opening her mail.
1:46 p.m. – A MacLeod Lane resident reported that, at 11 a.m., she saw what she thought was a mountain lion across the cul de sac on her street. She said the animal was not acting in a threatening manner, and requested to know if anyone else had reported the same thing, according to the log entry.
9:40 p.m. – Police responded to a report of people arguing in a parking lot on Avalon Drive. Officer checked the area, but found nothing.
11:12 p.m. – A call came in reporting people arguing in front of the main building on Avalon Drive. The responding officer reported there was a group of kids there waiting for rides after a birthday party ended.
