5 Things You Need to Know Today, Oct. 2

Before you start your day here are five things you need to know.

1. Mosaics Class: Memorial Hall Library will be holding a "Let's Create: Mosaics" event tonight at 7 p.m. In this adult activity, attendees will learn about making glass mosaics and will be able to make something to bring home. Find all these events and more in the library's online calendar.

4. Bancroft Breaks Ground Oct. 4: The Andover Public Schools announced that they will be celebrating the Bancroft Elementary School groundbreaking on this Thursday, Oct. 4 at Bancroft School.
