A Drunk Driver and an Injured Duck
The Monday, Jan. 17 Andover Police logs contains one arrest and several small incidents.
The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.
Monday, Jan. 17
At 2:20 a.m. police arrested Juan M. Polanco, 31, of 141 Amesbury St., Lawrence, on River Road. Polanco was charged with a marked lanes violation and operating under the influence of liquor.

At 2:55 a.m. several noise complaints were reported at a hotel on Campanelli Drive. Most guests had left the room by the time officers arrived. The remaining guests said they would quiet down. After more noise complaints the remaining guests eventually left by 5 a.m.
At 12:38 p.m. police assisted North Andover with a car accident at Route 125.

At 1:11 p.m. an injured duck was reported on Ballardvale Road. When officers arrived the duck flew away on its own.
At 5:02 p.m. An incident of fraud or a bad check was reported on Lantern Road. An officer filed the incident.
