A Lonely Beagle and a Stolen Truck
The police logs for Monday, Feb. 7, contained several small incidents.

Monday, Feb. 7
At 6:05 a.m. the responded to a possible water main break as well as a strong odor of gas on Central Street. The gas company and the water department were notified.
At 7:31 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Timothy Drive.

At 8:12 a.m. a caller reported that a beagle followed her from the Forbes Lane area over to her home on Hidden Road. She said the dog had only a flea collar. The dog’s owner eventually contacted police and said that “Napoleon,” the beagle, had been missing. Police provided the phone number of Napoleon’s new best friend to the dog’s owner.
At 1:01 p.m. an employee at on Railroad Street told police that she thought that there may be illegal activity occurring in one of the apartments.
