A Movie Matinee And a Computer Group

Here are upcoming events at the (ASC), 30 Whittier Court, Andover.  Pre-registration required for all events.  Open to entire community, pending space. Call for information: 978-623-8321. 

Movie Matinee is scheduled for Monday Dec. 13 at 1 p.m.  Disney's "A Christmas Carol" with Jim Carrey is the selection. This is a free event.

Computer Users Group is scheduled for Monday, Dec. 13 at 1:30 p.m. The session will cover email and browsers.  Call to register and give your email for future groups.  It will be held at Memorial Hall Library. This is a free event.

High Tea and History is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 15; 2 – 3 p.m. Held at the Andover Historical Society , 97 Main Street:  "The Big Screen in Andover."  RSVP: (978)475-2236. This event is limited to 25 people. This is a free event.

Chronic Pain…Ouch! is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 16, 1:30 p.m. $3. Meditation and relaxation techniques are taught to immediately start to improve your life.  On-going Pain Management support group meets monthly, 3^rd Monday at 1:30. Pre-register.

Say 'Goodnight' to Insomnia is scheduled Tuesday, Dec. 21, 9:30 a.m. $3.  Sleep better and feel better after this two hour experiential technique-based workshop. Pre-register.

New Year's Eve Afternoon Celebration is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 30. 1:30 p.m. $5.  Food, fun and entertainment with famed accordion player Sebastian Faro is the feature, playing music from around the world.  Advance registration only. 

Registration began Nov. 15 for all BoomerVenture and Senior Center winter classes. This includes low impact aerobics, strength training, gentle & intermediate yoga, seated exercise (Sit and Get Fit), tap dancing and Zumba.  Classes available for choral singing, acting, tambourines, mixed media art instruction (new instructor) and woodcarving.   Call to check available space.  First class always free to newcomers.
