A Paintball Incident and One Arrest

The police logs for Saturday, Jan. 15 and Sunday, Jan. 16 contain several small incidents and one arrest.

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police Log. The log is open to the public.

Saturday, Jan. 15

At 2:12 a.m. a loud party was reported on a third floor apartment on Crescent Drive. The residents did not realize what time it was and said they would keep it down.

At 2:39 p.m. a motorist reported that she was in an accident on Chestnut Street. No injuries were reported. Police did not investigate.

At 6:32 p.m. a bus was having a problem getting down Essex Street because of the condition of the roads and parked cars.

Sunday, Jan. 16

At 1:46 p.m. an officer was flagged down by a man who had been attacked by someone with a paintball gun on Punchard Avenue. The man’s motor vehicle was hit by the paintballs. An officer checked the area with negative results.

At 5:29 p.m. a motorist called 911 regarding a Christmas tree in the middle of the road on Sherbourne Street.

At 8 p.m. a Paulornette Cirlce resident reported that someone rung his doorbell twice in the past 15 minutes but nobody was at the door either time.

At 8:26 p.m. police arrested Coulton Ross, 19, of 105 Sunset Rock Road, on Canterbury Street. Ross was charged with possession of a class D substance with intent to distribute.
