A Week of Snow and New Content for Moms

Citizens of the region are perpetually reeling from the unceasing onslaught of this past week. The storm on Wednesday and Thursday brought roughly 20 inches of snow to the area, making snow banks even higher and driving dangerous. This week also introduced a new set of mother-related and must-see content on Andover Patch.

The Memorial Hall Library began their annual throughout the month of February, featuring a number of lectures that draw audiences from around the New England.

The Andover week in sports was exciting as usual and the hype with Andover varsity basketball teams persists.

Owners of local liquor stores discussed how their business was affected by a tax increase in 2009 and the subsequent repeal of the tax this past November. Liquor store owners said business has still and that other factors are hurting business, not to mention the Patriot’s losing.

Area teens also stopped by a Phillips Academy Andover to check out an array of summer opportunities offered in the are and beyond.
