Students are back in school with various stories about things they did over the summer. And one Andover High School Student has a unique story involving fire and glass.
Maxx Sabal spent a month this summer in Williamsburg at Snow Farm Summer, a program of The New England Craft Program.
This was Sabal's second summer participating in Snow Farm Summer, and studied glassblowing, flameworking and woodworking. This was Maxx’s second year at Snow Farm Summer.
He lived on the centuries-old farm creating a body of work and learning from crafting experts.
Founded in 1984, Snow Farm Summer offers teens and adults a chance to develop their skills in a variety of crafts including glassblowing, flameworking, metalsmithing and jewelry construction, welding and metal sculpture, ceramics, digital arts, woodworking and textiles.
