An Internet Scam and Possession of Marijuana
The police log for Thursday, Feb. 3, contained several small incidents.

The following are excerpts from the Andover police log. The log is open to the public.
Thursday, Feb. 3
At 12:13 a.m. a caller reported two dogs running loose near the gas station on Route 125.

At 10:32 a.m. trespassing was reported on Morton Street.
At 11:49 a.m. a Hidden Road resident told police that she was sold a money-order on Craig’s List that was supposedly worth seven times what she paid. When she went to the bank, the teller told her it was a scam and to report it to police. An officer filed the incident.

At 1:53 p.m. police cited a motorist for possession of a class D substance (marijuana) on Salem Street.
At 3:20 p.m. a caller reported a three-car motor vehicle accident with no injuries on Salem Street.
At 6:15 p.m. a motor vehicle hit and run was reported on Railroad Street. An officer filed the incident.
At 7:16 p.m. a caller reported a vehicle on its side on River Road and the operator was out of the car and did not appear to be injured. An officer responded and had the car towed. The state highway department was notified to clear snow from the crash.
