Andover 2022 Dog Licenses Now Available

Dog licenses must be renewed by March 1 in order to avoid late fees.

ANDOVER, MA — Andover dog licenses are now available for 2022, the town said Friday.

Residents with dogs must get a license each year. You can apply in person, online or by mail.

You can apply online here, download the application here or get one from the Town Clerk's Office, 36 Barlet Street. Applications will also be mailed with the Town Census at the end of January.

The annual license fee is $13 for a spayed or neutered dog and $14 for other dogs. Late fees of $5 per dog per month will be added to the cost beginning March 1.

Current rabies certificates and proof spaying or neutering if applicable must be provided as part of the application.

Write checks payable to the Town of Andover and mail license applications to the Town Clerk's Office, 36 Bartlet St., Andover, MA 01810.

"The Town Clerk's Office will return the rabies certificate and proof of spaying/neutering with the dog tag(s)," the town said.
