The project, led by the Town’s Facilities Department, included replacement of the structure’s distinct wood-shingled roof, installation of new railings, repair and refinishing of the concrete flooring, restoration of woodwork, and repointing of masonry around the base. These updates will help preserve the historic structure and ensure its continued use for years to come.
The project was funded in part through the FY2026 Capital Improvement Program and a state earmark. The Town contracted with T4 Construction to complete the work.
