The Andover Garden Club's January membership meeting will feature author and lecturer Jana Milbocker presenting “The Magic of the Winter Garden.” This richly illustrated lecture will provide inspiration and tips on designing gardens for winter interest; choosing the best trees, shrubs and perennials; and grouping plants to create arresting vignettes.

“The garden can be a magical place—even in winter,” said Milbocker. “Stripped of summer foliage and flowers, the success of a winter garden lies in its structure, basic design, and the choice of plant material.”
