Expert Rosarians Will Share Six Simple Steps for Successful Rose Gardening on April 2
The Andover Garden Club’s April 2 membership meeting will feature Angelina and Mike Chute, who will take the mystery out of successfully growing roses. The co-owners of RoseSolutions will offer tips and personal anecdotes from decades of rose-gardening experience to demonstrate how easy it can be to grow great roses.
More About the Speakers
Mike and Angie Chute and have been growing roses for more than 25 years in their East Providence RI garden. They have presented programs, lectures, and seminars at such venues as the Boston, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Newport flower shows as well as the University of Rhode Island Master Garden programs and NBC10’s Plant Pro. They also speak at numerous garden clubs and other organizations throughout the Northeast.

As a way to reach more home gardeners and landscape professionals, they started RoseSolutions, a landscape-consulting company that offers educational programs, workshops, seminars, and consulting services on rose horticulture. To further their goal of reaching everyone who wants to know more about rose gardening, they established the web site www.RoseSolutions.net and also author The Rose Journal blog (www.therosejournal.wordpress.com).
Their books, Rose Gardening Season by Season: A Journal for Passionate Gardeners and Roses for New England: A Guide to Sustainable Rose Gardening, will be available for purchase.

When, Where, and How
The event will be held at South Church (41 Central Street, Andover) on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. It will begin at 10:00 AM with social time and refreshments, followed by a brief business meeting. The presentation will start at approximately 11:00 AM.
The public is encouraged to take advantage of this program. A $10 donation is suggested for nonmembers.
About the Andover Garden Club
Founded in 1927, the Andover Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that encourages the study and practice of horticulture, landscape design, and floral design; aids in the beautification of the town of Andover; and helps protect and conserve natural resources. A member of the Garden Club Federation of Massachusetts, Inc., and National Garden Clubs, Inc., the club provides both financial and hands-on support to a variety of municipal, educational, and environmental organizations throughout the region.
