Andover Tennis Teams Head to Playoffs
The girls and boys tennis teams made the playoffs this year and will be competing against Peabody and Chelmsford during their first games.
Both the girls and boys varsity tennis teams will be competing against the best in Merrimack Valley this year in the MIAA (Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association) playoffs, beginning in June.
The boys team, with an impressive 16-3 regular season, received a bye during the first round of playoffs and will be playing Chelmsford in the quarter finals at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 1, in Chelmsford. Chelmsford had also received a bye.
On Monday, Lexington will play in the quarter finals against the winner of the Revere/Westford first round game on Saturday. If Andover beats Chelmsford, they'll be playing the winner of Monday's game in the semi-final round.
