ANDOVER, MA — Andover High School and the school's Andover Robotics Club (ARC) hosted the FIRST Tech Challenge State Championships for the first time ever earlier this month.

The event took place on March 5 at the high school and brought together 36 teams, featuring 500 participants, from around Massachusetts.

The teams competed — and collaborated — in this year's FIRST Tech Challenge game, PowerPlay. In the game, teams control robots — which they built and coded — trying to collect cones and place them on various spots around the playing field.
