Andover Home Sales, Prices Fall in 2011

The median prices of homes in Andover as well as Andover home sales declined from 2010 to 2011, spread throughout all types of homes, according to data analyzed by Buyers Brokers Only, LLC.

The median price for single-family homes in Andover fell by $6,500, or 1.2 percent, in 2011. Home sales in Andover dropped by 7 in 2011, representing a 2.5 percent drop.

As for condos, median price fell by $2,000, or 0.8 percent, versus 2010 and sales dropped by 9, representing a 14.1 percent decrease. The median price for a multi-family home in Andover decreased by $22,000 from 2010 to 2011, a 6.3 percent decrease. Multi-family home sales fell by 16.7 percent in 2011, or a decrease of one sale.
