Andover Launches Phone App for Neighborhood Issues
The town is now using SeeClickFix to allow residents to report road and neighborhood issues such as illegal dumping or potholes.

The town has wanted to provide residents with a easier way to let the town know about possible problems with roadways or general neighborhood issues.
Entering into the 21st Century, Andover can now say, "There's an app for that."
The town will now be part of an existing web and smartphone application that will include service for Andover residents. All you have to do is search for SeeClickFix and download the basic version with the picture of a hand holding a wrench.

With this place-based application, residents will be able to report general quality of life issues such as potholes, illegal dumping and other roadway and property issues.
“The Town of Andover is excited to add SeeClickFix to our methods of communication with the public," said Chris Cronin, Acting Director of Public Works.

"This product will enable the residents to quickly notify us in a manner that many will find more convenient, and in a format that incorporates this technology with our reporting systems, creating what we are sure to be a quicker, more efficient response, and help us identify community needs and control future costs”, added Cronin.
The application allows residents to pinpoint issues on a map and allow other residents to comment and vote on those issues as well.
The application is now use and there are currently four issues mapped in Andover right now.
