Andover Man Charged in Attack at Super Bowl Party
An Andover teenager was arrested last night for allegedly pistol whipping two other kids at a Ritz-Carlton residence during a Super Bowl Party, according to Boston.com.
The morning after the Pats lost it and a Super Bowl Party went awry, a 19-year-old Andover resident was charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly attacking two other men during a Super Bowl party at a Ritz-Carlton residence, according to Boston.com.
Leaving a blood trails and splatters in hallways, rooms and elevators of the upscale hotel, victims say that Kevin S. Macartney pistol whipped the two 19-year-old men in connection with the theft of liquor from a Super Bowl Party at the residence around 10:30 p.m. Sunday night.
Macartney pleaded not guilty Monday morning on the two counts at Boston Municipal court is being held on $5,000 bail, per the office of Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley.

Boston.com reported that police eventually found Macartney later on at the hotel and arrested him there. He was not charged for having a firearm because he no longer had it in possession at the time of arrest.
